I have always found this time of year to be magical and filled with hope and promise.
The holiday season gives us pause and offers a period reflection. Many of us have the great fortune of spending time with friends and loved ones discussing the year that took place and resolving to conquer what we have not yet achieved.
I consider myself fortunate for the good that surrounds me. I have personally found it rewarding to hear stories from the ID Team showing how their kindness and generosity from tutoring students to providing meals at food pantries, my colleagues give back daily. These acts of kindness have positively impacted the lives of children and families in our community. It is a reminder to help those in need – not just now, but throughout the year. The real lesson I have learned from my team is that good can be achieved through our collective actions.
We were recently asked to share our “Lessons Learned” on this topic in the latest edition of the Boston Business Journal:
How does your company help give back to your community during the holidays?
“The holiday season is a wonderful period to reflect and give thanks for the blessings we have in our lives. Individually and with our families, we select different organizations and spend time helping those in need to provide comfort and joy during this festive time of the year.”
